Older man woman's portrait in poor condition, faded and cracked, daughter is in good condition, oval mats, with flowers in corner, stamped on edge. "Dean Emerson" pat. Issac Justin and Henry Cox, 766 Battery H. , 1st Michigan Light Artillery with uniforms on, arms around shoulders. On plain glass; rectangular mat with stamped flowers vines; 1/2 case missing, case is paper covered wood with scroll design.

Emma E. Hawley and Mr. Hawley (unknown if husband wife). She has on a checked dress, over the shoulder neckline, with painted gilt earrings and necklace, net gloves, seated on chair. He wears a coat, satin vest, tie, white shirt, bearded. Both in seperate frames, some cracking of emulsion, fair condition, mats are non-pareil gilt, with scalloped design, each are incased in an oval plastic frame which has a square on the back for insertion on tintype.

Three children from left to right are: Alice Alzina, Henry Hopistill and Mary Adeline Jension of Eagle, Michigan, children of William Fletcher Jenison and Janet Berry Jenison. Henry Hopistill Jenison was one of the first graduates of Michigan State College, ca. 1857. Daguerreotype in poor condition; rectangular mat; no case; from Bertha Simon Davis.
