Map has been divided in two for conservation purposes. Shows all the surface rock types along the shore of Lake Superior as known in 1847. Scale on original is 1 inch equal 12 miles.

This two page hand written map shows a plan for the arrangements of common grounds in Detroit, Michigan in 1809.

[remainder of the title] Wherein are particularly distinguished the United States and the several provinces, governments & ca. which compose the British Dominions : laid down according the latest surveys and corrected from the original materials of [Governor] [Thomas] Pownall, [Member of Parliament] 1783. Printed for Robt. Sayer and Jno. Bennett, No. 53 Fleet Street as the Act directs August 15, 1783.
