Henry Jacobus. Single portrait. Flowered tie, underchin whiskers, black vest. 1/6 plate, plain oval mat. Paper covered wood case, scroll design, front half missing. Good condition.

Unidentified man, seated with beard, coat, vest and tie, with hand grasping lapel of coat; in excellent condition. Mat, rectangular, with floral and leaf pattern; excellent condition. Case is paper covered wood, with oval scroll design, badly worn; hinge broken, paper peeling off.

Two Civil War soldiers, one in frame, seated in chair, pants are tinted green. Second image filed behind is head and shoulder pose of a different soldier. Emulsion is in very bad condition, peeling away from plate, written on facing side is "A.E. Roberts Kalamazoo, Michigan $1.00" Mat rectangular with leaf and flower papers, case plastic with an iron clad ship and on water, and a fort in background, both flying with "Stars Stripes" in very good condition, case by "Parsons" 1857.

Unidentified young woman, seated, dress with braid and tassels on sleeves and braid on cuffs, gilt broach and ring. Faded at edges. Mat, gilt, scalloped with flower designs. Case is leather covered wood, resembles book, excellent condition.

Unidentified woman, hair tied in back, satin ribbons in hair, crocheted collar, painted on pin, print dress, somewhat faded, fair condition. Mat, gilt, scalloped, in good condition, no case.

G.H. Thompson, 4th Iowa Calvary with Civil War uniform, seated with painted back drop in background, good condition. Oval mat, gilt with scalloped corners made by Holmes, Booth and Hayden, Waterbury, Conn. Excellent condition, case is wood covered in green plush and leather, made to resemble a book, decorative painted metal corners, and silver clasp with etched desin, flap has been torn loose and stiched back in place, good condition.

Edward W. Moody, Co. G, 12th Michigan Infantry, full length portrait. In poor condition, emulsion peeled and cracking badly, mat elipitcal gilt, with clover pattern, in good condition, made by "Holmes, Booth Hayden, Waterbury, Conn., no case.

Unidentified man, coast, vest and tie, mutton chop beard. Good condition. Case of paper covered wood with cross design surrounded by scroll work, gilt trim, excellent condition. Identified as ferrotype.

Two unidentified girls, in two different tintypes. Left tintype shows one girl seated and one standing. Right tintype shows both girls standing with hand on back of chair. Both in good condition. Both have non-pareil, gilt, mats in excellent condition. No cases for either.

S.A. Baldwin, born October 28, 1832 in Orleans Co. N.Y., Co. E., 8th Michigan Infantry, killed by accidental discharge of a gun while hunting, died December 29, 1867 at Delta, Michigan. On plain glass, very clear; mat gilt with scroll designs; case is paper covered wood with flowers in oval on front and back; hinge broken, fair condition.

Mary Forbes Tainter, wife of Loren Tainter, woman with bonnet and knitted collar. Very poor condition, no mat, frame falling apart, with different front and back cases.

Mr. and Mrs. John Freemyre (Grandparents of Jessie Swift, Grand Ledge?). On plain gass, excellent condition, plain ovel gilt mats, some tarnish. Case plastic made by "Littlefield, Parsons Co." The sole proprietors and only legal manufactures of union cases, with embracing riveted hinge "patented Oct. 14, 1856 and April 21, 1857.
