This is volume thirty-six of a forty-six set. It follows the Sixth Michigan Cavalry regiment. The series is a compilation of the military history of each soldier of the Civil War who was a resident of the State of Michigan at the time of enlistment.
Two seperate letters from Peter Jones and Henry Haney to Mrs. Mahan. Peter Jones wrotes to Mrs. Mahan on January 6, 1865, while Henry Haney wrote on December 19, 1864. Both individuals are wounded and stationed at different hospitals, but request supplies to be sent to them by Mrs. Mahan.
