B. 26th Michigan Infantry with uniform, in poor condition, emulsion flaking off, written in back of tintype, "...killed at Spottsylvania, VA., May 13, 1864, a good soldier. A good boy compliment of his Capt. C.H. Ives." Mat, oval gilt, braided, no cover glass, case oval plastic, no hinge, good condition.
