Wenona Beach was founded in 1887 and included a casino, vaudeville entertainment, boating, bathing, dancing and other entertainment. It was a vacation destination for residents of Bay County and surrounding counties.

Black and white postcard depicting the historic Bay City City Hall building. The building was constructed in 1897 by the local architecture firm Pratt and Koeppe. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. The building was completely restored in 1980.
