Scope and Content:
Series 1, 2, and 3 of RG 84-107 consist of World War I veterans bonus files (1921-1932) for veterans from Michigan who served in the Army, Navy and Marines of the American armed forces. 4 x 6 or 5 x 8 (Navy) inch cards for the Army includes the name of the soldier, address, serial number, race, place and date of induction, place and date of birth, rank, training camp, assignments and transfers, engagements, overseas service, discharge date, and disability. The Navy cards include similar information, as do the Marine cards, which also include information on wounds or injuries.
