Oscoda
A collection of survey maps of Grand Rapids Township, a portion of the City of Grand Rapids and almost all of the City of East Grand Rapids. The first survey map in this collection describes the land where Grand Rapids Charter Township, a portion of the City of Grand Rapids and almost all of the City of East Grand Rapids are now located. The City of Grand Rapids is located in parts of Sections 8, 17, 20, and 28 and all of Sections 7, 18, 19, 29, 30, 31, and 32. The City of East Grand Rapids is located in parts of Sections 27 and 28 and all of Sections 33 and 34. This survey was completed in April 1831. The second map details an island in a lake located in Section 5 of Grand Rapids Township. This survey was completed in August 1958.
