This is the old Newaygo County Courthouse. Newaygo was once the seat of the county before it was later moved to White Cloud. The site is now where the City of Newaygo offices are located, in downtown Brooks Park.

This is Newaygo’s main schoolhouse. Although the building has been rebuilt and gone through changes over the years, there has been a “schoolhouse up on the hill” since Newaygo’s earliest days. Today, Newaygo Elementary is on the site.
