Biography or Historical Note: The Building and Construction divisions of the State Administrative Board were transferred to the Department of Administration with the passage of Public Act 51 of 1948. The functions of this division remained in the department when the Department of Administration changed to the Department of Management and Budget and later the Department of Technology, Management and Budget.

System of arrangement: Records are arranged by type, then by date of transfer to the Archives of Michigan. This collection includes architectural drawings. Individual files can be found at the record group level.
