Report Nr. 3580 2012 Deer Hunter Opinion Survey

Results of a survey of a random sample of 5,697 deer hunting license buyers contacted after the 2012 deer hunting season to (1) estimate importance of deer hunting and motives of deer hunters in Michigan, (2) quantify hunter activity during the past three deer hunting seasons, and (3) determine deer hunters’ opinions on various hunting regulations.
