This collection contains reproductions of Michigan history related paintings by Robert Thom. The paintings were commissioned by the Michigan Historical Commission between 1964 and 1967.
This collection contains various photographs of individuals - identified and unidentified - from the second half of the 19th century. The type of these images various from tintype, daguerreotype, and ambrotype. Due to the fragility of this collection, they cannot be viewed in the Archives of Michigan Reading Room.
The collection includes audio interviews of Michigan History Center staff by host Cynthia Canty for Michigan Radio's Stateside. Transcripts are included as well.
