Letter from General Alpheus S. Williams to Quartermaster General Salmon S. Matthews dated November 22, 1875. In the letter, Gen. Williams recounts the events that took place on Culp's Hill during the Battle of Gettysburg.

Muster Roll of Captain John J. Dennis' Artillery Company mustered to be attached to the 1st Regiment Michigan Engineers and Mechanics called into service on October 15, 1861.

Two seperate letters from Peter Jones and Henry Haney to Mrs. Mahan. Peter Jones wrotes to Mrs. Mahan on January 6, 1865, while Henry Haney wrote on December 19, 1864. Both individuals are wounded and stationed at different hospitals, but request supplies to be sent to them by Mrs. Mahan.

A letter from Edwin C. Miles with no date present. The letter was written on the back of a map depicting the Ohio River dated 1855. Edwin writes about his journey to Washington D.C. as well as updating the lastest news on the 5th Michigan Infantry.
