On a Friday after work, my girlfriend and I go downstairs to take a walk in our neighborhood after a whole week working remotely from home. Our friend lives in the same neighborhood and we call her, but due to social distancing policy we cannot meet each other. So she could only say hi from her apartment and we are downstairs chatting for a while, through phone, though 'face to face'. I then take a shot with my camera recording this very moment that they see each other.

On the first very nice day of April my wife and son went outside while I was teleworking and pulled out chalk. This was his first time every playing with chalk. They spent a good amount of time drawing various things like robots, rainbows and boats. When they were done I was surprised how much color our normally grey sidewalk now had and made things feel a little brighter. He had a huge grin on his face when he asked if he could trace my hands and feet with chalk on the steps (I was sitting outside too with my laptop at that point enjoying the breeze) and it made me grin just as much when he stepped back and looked proud at his work.

I had just come out of a patients room after spending at least an hour in full PPE holding his hand and calling his family so they could say their goodbyes. I sat down and looked over at my colleague and the way she was laying was exactly how I was feeling

I started to build a solid Hardwood Cherry gun cabinet. The picture is the completed base cabinet without stain or polyurethane. I am currently working on the top cabinet which will display the guns. I work on this every day and should be wrapping up the project by the end of April; just in time to return to work (I pray).

My daughter is a veterinary technician. They are still open to take care of pets, but all of the personal protective equipment has been rerouted to the hospitals and first responders. They were interacting with pet owners, and doing procedures on animals with limited or no PPE. I made over 75 masks, and 20 surgical caps for them.
