Biography or Historical Note: Cook, William H.H. Riley. Enlisted in company B, Third Cavalry, Sept. 24, 1861, at Riley, for 3 years, age 24. Mustered Oct. 3, 1861. Died of disease at new Madrid, Mo., March 24, 1862. Buried in National Cemetery at Memphis, Tenn. Freeman, Phineas R. Clinton County. Enlisted in company B, Third Cavalry, as Corporal, Aug. 31, 1861, at Riley for 3 years, age 31. Mustered Oct. 11, 1861. Taken prisoner at Boonville, Miss. June 26, 1862. Discharged for disability at Washington, D.C. Voorhees, Peter. Dixboro. Enlisted in company B, Third Cavalry, Sept. 4, 1861, at Dixboro, for 3 years, age 23. Mustered Oct. 3, 1861. Died at Camp Anderson, Mich., Nov. 29, 1861. Buried at Detroit, Mich.
