Biography or Historical Note: Button, Frank H. Enlisted in company I, Fourteenth Infantry, October 1, 1862, at Nashville, Tenn. for 3 years, age 18. Mustered Oct. 1, 1862. Wounded July 5, 1864. Musician. Discharged on Surgeon's certificate of disability at Harper Hospital, Detroit, Mich., May 5, 1865. Button, Lorenzo D. Washtenaw County. Enlisted in company I, Fourteenth Infantry, Feb. 24, 1862. Mustered April 11, 1862. Reenlisted March 30, 1864, at Kalamazoo, Mich. Mustered March 31, 1864. Sergeant July, 1864. Wounded in action at Bentonville, N.C., March 20, 1865. Died at New Berne, N.C., April 29, 1865. Buried in New Berne Cemetery, N.C.
